Tennis Manager and Staff

Jon Jacobson
Jon is beginning his eleventh year as a USPTA certified Director of Tennis and Head Professional at Forest Hill. He has previously worked at the L’Hirondelle Club, The Suburban Club and has directed programs at The Woodholme Country Club, The Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, and Chestnut Ridge Country Club.
In addition to coaching tennis teams at Frederick Douglass High School, Patterson High School, St. Timothy's School, Boys Latin Middle School, and Mt. Hebron High School. Jon is now the coach of both the girls and boys teams at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn Maryland.

Chip Boling
Chip is beginning his 6th year at Forest Hill.  Chip is a USPTA certified teaching pro with experience as Assistant Men's Tennis Coach at Frostburg State University (his alma mater), where he played for four years, serving as captain his senior year.  Chip was first team all-conference singles and doubles while at Frostburg.
Chip is currently the Math Department Head at Howard High School and serves as coach of the tennis team at Howard (8 years). He has coached many county, regional, and state individual and team champions.  He will be joining us at the conclusion of the school year when he will work with all junior activities, including camps, junior interclub, and the junior singles league and will be available for individual and group lessons.

Madreadi Skinner
We are excited to announce that Madreadi Skinner will be returning to Forest Hill as a teaching pro.  As a junior player, Madreadi received scholarships to train at the acclaimed Bollettieri, Macci and Johnson tennis academies, achieving rankings of #1 in the Mid-Atlantic and #15 nationally. 
He went on to play collegiate tennis at Clemson, reaching semifinals and finals as both a singles and doubles player.  After college, Madreadi traveled the ITF circuit before returning to his roots here in the Baltimore area as a USPTR professional. 
Presently, Madreadi works with many of the area’s top juniors.  His unique focus has paid off for his students; coaching players that have achieved collegiate success at universities such as Duke, Washington and Lee, Stony Brook and Temple, as well as local, national and international rankings.

Jim Jeffers
Jim is a PTR and USPTA certified teaching professional with 33 years of teaching experience as well as directing programs at clubs in MD, PA, and VA.  
Jim played in college and has been ranked as both a junior and adult.  In 2003, Jim played on the Howard County 4.5 USTA team that won nationals.
