Employment Opportunities:
Lifeguard starting at $7.25/hr Must be at least 15 years of age prior to May 29th
Applicant must be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid Training and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Training prior to May 23. Equivalents to American Red Cross Training courses listed above may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Those who are offered and accept positions will be required to attend pre-season meetings and training and will be required to demonstrate continued proficiency in the skills necessary to perform the technical aspects (i.e. CPR, Lifeguarding, First Aid) of their job.

Gate Attendant starting at $7.50/hr Must be at least 16 years of age prior to May 29th
Must be honest and able to handle money in a responsible fashion. The best candidate will be polite, outgoing, and enjoy serving people. Experience with computers is a plus. Some light administrative work may be required. Previous experience handling money or in a customer service related job is preferred, although not required. Those who are offered and accept positions will be required to attend pre-season meetings and training.
Swim Lesson/ Water Safety Instructor starting at $10/hr Must be at least 16 years of age prior to May 29th
Must be trained in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Training. No prior experience required. Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and work well with children. We will train and certify the right person if necessary. Those who are offered and accept positions will be required to attend pre-season meetings and training and will be required to demonstrate continued proficiency in the skills necessary to perform the technical aspects (i.e. swim lesson instruction) of their job.

Tennis Attendant starting at $7.25/hr Must be at least 16 years of age prior to May 29th
No prior experience/training required. The best applicant will have a well developed work-ethic and enjoy completing light labor tasks in an outdoor setting. Previous experience in completing landscaping tasks involving light machinery is a plus. Knowledge of Tennis is a plus, but not required. Those who are offered and accept positions will be required to attend pre-season meetings and training prior to the start of the club's Tennis season. Please note that Forest Hill's tennis season begins April 15 and ends October 15. There may be opportunities to work prior to the club's opening in April and May and after the club's closing in September and October.
Snack Bar Attendant starting at $7.25/hr Must be at least 15 years of age prior to May 29th
No prior experience/training required. Must be honest and able to handle money in a responsible fashion. The best candidate will be polite, outgoing, and enjoy serving people. Experience with computers is a plus. This position will also require you to complete all aspects of the preparation of short-order menu items in a safe and sanitary manner. This includes light clean-up duties. All training for necessary food handling/preparation tasks will be provided prior to the start of the summer season. The best applicant will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and be able to follow directions. Those who are offered and accept positions will be required to attend pre-season meetings and training.
Snack Bar Shift Supervisor salary varies based upon level of experience. Must be at least 16 years of age prior to May 29th

This position will also require you to complete all aspects of the preparation of short-order menu items in a safe and sanitary manner. This includes light clean-up duties. In addition to the above duties, you will also have shared responsibility with the manager-on-duty for the supervision of 2-3 snack bar attendants while on duty. You will be responsible for ensuring that all facility specific safety and sanitation procedures are followed. You will report to the Club Manager and may be requested to assist with additional administrative tasks relating to the operation of the snack bar. All training for necessary food handling/preparation tasks will be provided prior to the start of the summer season. The best applicant will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, have previous food service related experience, and/or supervisory experience. Those who are offered and accept positions will be required to attend pre-season meetings and training.

Manager's Certifications:
All Managers at Forest Hill are Certified Pool Operators in the State of Maryland and are recognized by the Howard County Health Department as pool operators in Howard County. Manager's also hold the National ServSafe® Manager's Certification for Safe Food Handling as recognized by the Howard County Health Department. The Manager-on-duty is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the club with the Club Manager being responsible for the overall operation of the club under the supervision of the Board of Directors.
Lifeguard Certifications:
All Lifeguards are Certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard & First Aid Training as well as CPR for the Professional Rescuer Training (or accepted equivalents, including Boy Scouts of America, YMCA, and Ellis & Associates Certifications)
